The Fifth Estate by Jaskee HickmanThe Fifth Estate tells the story of Julian Assange as he goes as deep as he can to expose the many infractions of governments, banks and other organizations doing things that they’re not supposed to be doing. He’s relentless in his work and is determined to unmask and broadcast the illegal behaviors of the “powers that be” with the hopes of ultimately bringing them to their knees. His ferocious approach to accomplishing this mixed with a level of intelligence that some may perceive as superior leads him to developing wikileaks after years of doggedly hunting down the people with a discernible degree of financial power that have the capability of corrupting the ungoverned who make their own rules.

Iron Man 3, 2013 Film Starring Robert Downey Jr.by Sashank Krishna KiniIron Man 3 may not be a bad film. But I found it unbearable. Maybe when I catch the TV premiere, I’ll hate it less. But what I felt watching the film in theatre was tedium.

Total Recall (2012)by Jaskee HickmanReplacing Arnold Schwarzenegger in this remake is Colin Farrell. He stars as Douglas Quaid, a factory worker who lives a simple yet frustrating life with his lovely wife Lori (Kate Beckinsale) in a small worn out apartment. In order to get away from his frustrating life, Quaid decides to visit a company called Rekall. Here, they can take any of your wildest fantasies and turn them into what feels like reality. But there is a catch for anyone who gets linked up to this machine. There’s the potential for permanent damage and you might end up confusing reality with fantasy in the process.

The Dark Knight Risesby Jaskee HickmanThe story in The Dark Knight Rises starts eight years after the events that took place in The Dark Knight. Batman (Christian Bale) has disappeared and is now a fugitive after taking the blame for the death Harvey Dent, the District Attorney of Gotham. No one has seen or heard from Batman since then and it looks like no one will. The chances of seeing the Caped Crusader is even less likely when you add to the fact that Gotham is now considered a safe place and there doesn’t appear to be any reason for him to return. That is until Bane (Tom Hardy), a notorious mercenary arrives with lofty goals based around the destruction of Gotham.

Snow White and The Huntsmanby Jaskee HickmanWith a familiar story, Snow White and The Huntsman has an evil queen (Charlize Theron) who will do anything to keep her power. When it is learned that Snow White (Kristen Stewart) is destined to replace her, she learns of her whereabouts and orders a hunter (Chris Hemsworth) to track her down and prevent it from happening. The huntsman however has plans of his own once he comes to understand who she is and why she is so important.
